WAIT COLUMN: Childhood memories rush back

May 21, 2014

I remember coming to the Southeastern Conference Tournament when I was younger with my family.
It was one of the neatest events I had ever been to, and being the big baseball fan that I am, I was right at home.
I have been to a SEC Football Championship, a bowl game, the College World Series and many regionals and super regionals, but nothing matches what I am going to experience this week if Mississippi State isn't eliminated.
It is some of the greatest college baseball in the country and most of the games bring some drama and fantastic finishes.
Driving to the stadium on Tuesday afternoon brought back those memories as a child and I was reminded once again why I like this event so much.
