Officers arrest 18 on drug counts

A year-long cooperative investigation culminated Thursday with at least 18 Starkville residents in custody on suspicion of drug possession or drug sales.

Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department led the investigation, with assistance from Starkville Police Department, Clay County Sheriff’s Department, West Point Police Department and the Mississippi Department of Corrections, according to an OCSD press release.
