Bulldogs are good fit for Vickerson brothers

Alabama was the first major school to recruit Jake Vickerson out of junior college.
The Tuscaloosa native attended Shelton State Community College in Alabama out of high school, and contemplated attending the Southeastern Conference university in his home town.
Instead, he accepted a scholarship offer from Mississippi State.
"They (Alabama) were the first school I talked to, but it just worked out for me to come here," Vickerson said.
