EUPORA – Coach Brad Mitchell thought fans were getting their money’s worth by attending the Eupora and Baldwyn series.
Things have been turned up a notch as the Eagles see all their hard work pay off to place them in a best-of-three series with county rival East Webster for the Class 2A North Half Championship. The series begins tonight in Cumberland at 7 p.m.
“It means a lot for these kids for sure,” Mitchell said. “They’ve worked hard. Like I told them, just get in the playoffs and let’s see what happens. For this to happen makes them believe in themselves and in each other.”
