Bulldogs look to have name called at draft

Dan Mullen has seen 12 Mississippi State players taken in the National Football League Draft.
Mullen has spent five years as the head coach of the Bulldogs, and each year he has had at least two players taken in the draft.
There are a couple of Bulldog hopefuls looking to be drafted this time around. The draft starts today, with the second and third rounds on Friday and the final four rounds on Saturday.
Offensive guard Gabe Jackson has the best chance of being drafted.'s Mike Mayock has the Liberty native has the third best offensive guard in this year's draft.
Jackson entered his senior year at MSU with expectations of being drafted.
After a good year, his draft stock rose. Jackson won the inaugural Kent Hull Award, given to Mississippi's best college offensive lineman. He has won the Conerly Trophy, giving to the state's best overall player.
