EMCC president tells Rotary about infrastructure plans

Rick Young has 40 years of experience in workforce training.

So it makes sense that, in the past decade he has spent as president of East Mississippi Community College, the school’s workforce training program has become an economic asset for the Golden Triangle. For instance, Young said when the Wall Street Journal covered Yokohama Tire Company’s decision to build a new plant in West Point, Yokohama representatives mentioned EMCC and its workforce training offerings as a key reason for that site selection.
