Jacksonville State's Case recalls times as assistant at MSU

April 30, 2014

Prior to Mississippi State's baseball game against Jacksonville State Wednesday night, a lengthy conversation took place between two men named Jim.
Jim Case, the head coach of Jacksonville State, was catching up with Jim Ellis, the radio voice of the baseball Bulldogs.
It was a homecoming for Case as he was the pitching coach at MSU under Pat McMahon from 1997-2001 and was a graduate assistant coach under Ron Polk from 1984-86.
Case and Ellis visited for several minutes before the Gamecocks took batting practice at Dudy Noble Field and discussed some of those old times.
