Eupora defeated Potts Camp 19-0

POTTS CAMP – The Eupora Eagles softball team shut the door early on Potts Camp, capturing a 19-0 victory on Friday.
The game was decided quickly as Eupora exerted its will early with 16 runs in the first three innings.
A walk by Emily Littlejohn, a walk by Savannah Kilpatrick, a groundout by Kaitlin Burton, a groundout by Courtney Hatcher, and a RBI single by Delta Newman during the first inning and a RBI triple by JaLisa Bell, a RBI single by Hannah McDowell, a RBI triple by Savannah , a passed ball, an error, a walk by Bell, a home run by McDowell, and a RBI single by Burton in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Lady Eagles.
McDowell racked up five RBIs on three hits for Eupora.
The Lady Eagles' Sidney Bailey kept Potts Camp off the scoreboard for all five innings she was in the circle. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up three.
