Starkville Academy hires new principal

April 24, 2014

Incoming Starkville Academy Head of School Jeremy Nicholas named Melanie Boyle as the school’s next elementary principal Wednesday.

The news came through a letter from Nicholas to patrons, faculty and staff, released through the school’s online newsletter. Boyle currently works as project manager the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program in the dean of education’s office at Mississippi State University. She is also a consultant for the University of Southern Mississippi’s Educational Leadership and School Counseling Department, advising and editing dissertation documents. Nicholas said in his letter that Boyle had extensive experience at several primary school levels.
