Paul Ruff is having an affair — or at least, his character in Starkville Community Theatre’s next play is.

In “Don’t Dress for Dinner,” Bernard, played by Kris Lee, brings Ruff’s character Robert along with him to a French farmhouse as an alibi so he can cheat on his wife Jacqueline, played by Madrina Stroup. But Robert and Jacqueline are having an affair of their own, and to add to the irony, Bernard’s mistress Suzanne is being played by Paul Ruff’s real-life wife Cindy Ruff.
