Bulldogs bring five-game win streak into home baseball series

Mississippi State hit a lull two weeks ago after it lost its second-straight Southeastern Conference series.
The Bulldogs lost a home series to Ole Miss a weekend after being swept by LSU on the road.Â
Since the loss to the in-state rival Rebels, the Bulldogs have turned things around. No. 20 MSU (27-15, 10-8) takes a five-game winning streak into a home clash against Texas A&M (25-17, 8-10) starting today.
â€śTheyâ€™re very fundamentally sound, (and) they have really good arms,â€ť State head coach John Cohen said. â€śIn some ways, theyâ€™re similar to our club because they pitch and they play defense, and theyâ€™re very capable offensively. They are a pitch or two away from three or four more wins in league play.â€ť
