Mr. Harrison Lee Mosley

Mr. Harrison Lee Mosley, age 71, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014 after a nearly four year battle with cancer. He was born October 20, 1942 in Bay County, Florida to Arvie Lee and Rosa Lee Mosley, both deceased of DeFuniak Springs, FL. Mr. Mosley had lived most of his life in Escambia and Walton County, FL but also lived in Baldwin County, AL and Clay County, MS. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and a very compassionate and giving person and servant of God. He truly believed that a person's integrity was everything and made an example of this in the way he lived his life. He was a general contractor most of his life. Mr. Mosley loved carpentry work, operating equipment doing earthwork, calf roping, fishing, and gardening. Lee graduated from Tate
High School in Cantonment, FL and joined the army. On June 27, 1964 ,he married wife Linda Sue Mosley and at the time of his death they were approaching sharing 50 years of respect and love together. They have three children; Chyrl Ann Mosley of Nashville, TN., Jefferson Lee Mosley of Maben, MS., and Harrison Heath Mosley of Maben, MS (wife Michele Mosley). Mr. Mosley was most proud of his five grandsons; Jonathan Dillon Mosley, Jefferson Call Mosley, Franklin Lee 'Guss' Mosley, Zachariah Cordell Mosley and Peyton Elliot Mosley and his granddaughter, River Mackenzie RogersÂ… he loved his grandchildren very much and delighted in witnessing their lives unfolding. Mr. Mosley had a
sister Ruby Sheets (and husband William Sheets Sr.) of DeFuniak Springs, FL and another sister, Wynell Ropke (and husband Rev Carl Ropke) of Atmore, AL, He also had a brother Charles Junior Mosley (deceased), (and wife Lillian Mosley) of Pensacola, FL., and another brother James Donald Mosley (and wife Linda F Mosley) of DeFuniak Springs,
FL. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Cluster Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 1333 County Highway 1084, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433 with Reverend (and cherished friend) Joel N. Firey officiating. Burial will follow at Cluster Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
