Tennis season is beginning the downhill stretch for the Starkville Academy Volunteers.
As the regular season winds down, coach Lynn Moorehead is anticipating getting in some good court time for her athletes.
“I am looking forward to getting more experience for my players,” Moorehead said. “This gets them in a competitive situation so they get their minds ready for district.”
All season long, Moorehead said the team has been working hard and improving in every spot. She is looking forward to seeing what the team can do this week as the season begins to wind down.
