Football coaches know and understand when they get into the business that it's not just about what happens in the fall.
The spring is becoming just as an important part of the process for a program.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs just completed their spring drills, while The Starkville High School Yellowjackets start Monday and the Starkville Academy Volunteers have their workouts later at the conclusion of baseball season.
People see the wins and losses pile up by November and December, but the work toward doing enough to make the postseason starts in April and May, or even before that.
It takes a tremendous amount of preparation in the offseason to be able to enjoy any success and possibly experience a championship.
