BOA seeks sanitation proposals - Board chooses development director finalists

Starkville aldermen on Tuesday approved four separate motions in their meeting at City Hall to gather information and request proposals for outsourcing functions of Sanitation and Environmental Services.

One item, which the board approved on its consent agenda, ordered Sanitation and Environmental Services Director Emma Gandy and Chief Administrative Officer Taylor Adams to prepare a request for proposals to explore the cost of outsourcing the entire department’s operations.
