Sen. Cochran speaks to Boy Scouts Monday

Scouts, volunteers and supporters of the Pushmataha Area Council, including United States Senator Thad Cochran (R-Pontotoc) gathered at Mississippi State University’s Hunter Henry Center Monday night for the yearly On My Honor Dinner for Scouting.

The Pushmataha Area Council is a regional branch of Boy Scouts of America that serves Oktibbeha, Clay, Lowndes, Noxubee, Winston, Choctaw, Webster, Calhoun, Chickasaw and Monroe counties. Council President Bill Kibler said the council served more than 1,300 youth through 42 units throughout its footprint.
