Love of sport grips Jackets in first year

Toxophilite is taking over several students at Starkville High School this year.
When it comes to having a love for archery, which is the meaning of toxophilite, the Yellowjackets have found another way to be competitive within the athletic department and have fun at the same time.
They have participated in four meets in their first-ever season and have performed well.
SHS coaches Mike Pope and Michelle Guyton have been pleased with the progress of their squad, while experiencing the fastest growing sport in the country.
