MSU students look at life after college

Marcus Jackson was one of several students at Mississippi State University who got a dose of reality Tuesday.

Jackson is a senior on MSU’s track and field team, and he said he planned to become a professional track runner, but he is also majoring in human science. He consulted Tuesday with experts on expenses professionals incur after college like transportation, housing, student loans, insurance, child care and more. The results, he said, were a surprise.
