Nick Griffin's career at Mississippi State has been a wall of adversity.
The senior running back has had two knee injuries that have affected his playing time. He missed the first five games of his redshirt freshman season with his first knee injury, and then missed bowl practice and the 2013 Gator Bowl with a knee injury.
Both times he had reconstructive surgery to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.Â
His junior season was affected by the latest knee injury, but entering his final spring with the Bulldogs, Griffin is finally healthy.
"I just kept persevering and I feel real blessed right now because I got a second chance," Griffin said.Â
