Perper, Dion close Bulldog home careers

April 6, 2014

Sasha Perper and Roseline Dion walked off the home tennis courts at Mississippi State for possibly the final time in their careers on Saturday.
Unless there's a postseason possibility for the Bulldogs at Pitts Tennis Centre, the final match in Starkville for the seniors was against South Carolina.
The South Carolina match was moved to Saturday because of the threat of rain today.
Perper and Dion were two of the first recruits for State women's coach Daryl Greenan and he has enjoyed having them as part of the program for the last four years.
"They've meant a lot to our program and have become pillars for our program," Greenan said. "They really provided some leadership that we haven't had here in a long time. They've meant a lot in that sense. Obviously, they've given it all they've got.
"What they've done is help build a bit of a foundation for a promising future. We're going to miss them."
