Kizmet Hamilton, mother of a victim injured in a Sunday morning shooting at the Club Rock nightclub on Rockhill Road north of Starkville, made an impassioned plea to the community at a Thursday morning press conference.

Her son, 18-year-old Starkville native Zacharias Blanchard, was one of five victims injured in the shooting, and is still in a critical care unit at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
