Eupora school fire deemed accidental

April 4, 2014

County and state fire investigators have confirmed that the March 23 fire at Eupora High School was accidental, and school officials are close to restoring functionality to one portion of the building that was damaged in the fire.

The fire destroyed one EHS building’s break room March 23, and while it did not spread to other classrooms and hallways, smoke damage did. As a result, school leadership relocated all classes normally held in that building to the Webster County School District central office and a newer building directly behind the one damaged in the fire.
