Brooks gives boost to Indians

March 31, 2014

Nick Brooks

A former Starkville High School pitcher arrived at Itawamba Community College just in the nick of time.
With a shortage of arms, the Indians welcomed Nick Brooks to the program and he has contributed to the pitching staff.
"We picked up (Brooks) at Christmas and he has helped us out," ICC baseball coach Rick Collier said. "We've had two injuries and we've had the first death that I've ever dealt with before Christmas and that was a pitcher. We needed some pitching help there and he came at a good time."
