Mississippi State head coach John Cohen likes the composure and fight of his baseball team.
It showed up once again over the weekend.
After dropping the first game to Arkansas, the No. 16 Bulldogs rebounded to win the next two games, including a 5-1 victory on Sunday to take the series.
"That says a lot of the composure these kids have and really the fact that we have a lot of older kids who have been here before and know how to win in adverse conditions," Cohen said.
State (20-10, 6-3) has won its first three Southeastern Conference series for the first time since 2007. It's also the first time MSU has had a winning record after three weekends in league play since 2007.
