It's an honor and responsibility that Jamie Mitchell doesn't take lightly.
The Starkville High School head football coach learned on Wednesday that he had been chosen as the head coach of the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Classic.
Mitchell said receiving such recognition is humbling, just realizing "there's only one coach a year chosen for that spot."
Following a meeting of the Mississippi-Alabama board on Wednesday, the chairman Brad Peterson informed Mitchell of their decision.
