How do you erase a 14-point deficit? Turn to No. 14.
Kendra Grant scored 15 of her game-high 20 points in the second half and the Bulldogs defeated the Tigers 59-54 in the third round of the Women's National Invitational Tournament at Humphrey Coliseum.
The third time was the charm for MSU after losing 82-74 and 51-43 decisions in the regular season to Auburn.
The Bulldogs improved their record to 22-13 and advanced to the quarterfinals Sunday where they will play South Florida at 5 p.m.
