Starkville loses decision to Northwest Rankin

March 22, 2014

The Starkville Yellowjackets played one of the best teams in Mississippi on Friday in Northwest Rankin and it showed as they dropped a 12-0 decision at home.
“I don’t know what they are ranked, somebody said three, somebody said one, but they are deserving of it,” Starkville coach Travis Garner said. “They are a good club. Lot of credit goes to them. We didn’t play well and that is unfortunate, but they are a really good team. They are probably as good as you will find in the state.”
