A dream comes true, Brown starts for MSU

March 20, 2014

Preston Brown came to Mississippi State with the dream of being the Friday night starter.
The redshirt sophomore right hander will get to see that dream come to fruition.
The Germantown, Tenn., native will be making his first start on a Friday night and first Southeastern Conference start when he takes the mound tonight to kick off a series against No. 4 Vanderbilt (19-3, 2-1).
"I'm just going to try and treat it like every other start," Brown said. "It's just another game. I'm just going to try to get some ground balls and let my defense play."
