March 19, 2014

The emphasis will be "20 on 20 night" at Humphrey Coliseum.
Mississippi State women's coach Vic Schaefer wants his team to get its 20th victory on March 20.
That's what the opportunity of playing in the Women's National Invitational Tournament presents for the Bulldogs tonight. MSU takes on the Tulane Green Wave at home with the tip set for 7 p.m.
For Schaefer and his coaching staff, playing this deep into March is something that is supposed to happen.
"We're excited about still playing," Schaefer said at Wednesday's press conference on campus. "It will be March 20 when we're playing. When you are a women's basketball player in a program, you don't worry about spring break plans in Florida or going snow skiing. You worry about who your next opponent is going to be. For us, it's a natural progression."
The Bulldogs (19-13) will see a familiar opponent in the Green Wave (20-10).
