Bulldogs back on field: MSU brings energy to open spring drills

March 18, 2014

Dan Mullen and John Hevesy aren't big fans of sitting in the office.
The Mississippi State head coach and co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach, respectively, were glad to be back out on the practice fields as the Bulldogs got the 2014 spring drills underway.
"(It's) great for me," Mullen said. "I love being out there on the field. That's what we love to do."
Hevesy may be the bigger fan of stepping on the grass.
"(It's) absolutely terrific," Hevesy said with gusto when asked how he felt being back out on the practice fields. "I'm tired of being in the office. I don't coach to sit in the office. That's when you want to be out there."
