Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department kicked the year off with a weight-loss challenge and now, a few months later, participants are seeing results.

Sheriff Steve Gladney said the 22 participants for the voluntary challenge weighed in on Jan. 6 to start the competition, then weighed in again on March 7. All together, participants lost 238 pounds during the 2-month challenge.
