Thomas believes Bulldogs giving effort necessary

March 9, 2014

Fred Thomas knows he and his teammates are giving it everything they have on the basketball court.
It just isn't good enough right now for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs are in the midst of a 13-game losing streak, matching last year's total. They are one loss away from tying the school-record longest losing streak.
"We faced a lot adversity this year," Thomas, a sophomore guard, said. "It's hard to get over that hump. We playing hard. We just can't get a victory. It's just the little things that we are not doing that is not getting us a victory."
After starting with a 3-2 mark in Southeastern Conference play, MSU has dropped its final 13 games of the regular season to finish last in the league.
