Charles Larry Stallings, Jr., of Starkville, MS, died on Monday, March 3, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was 55. Larry was born on April 23, 1958 in Starkville, MS. He attended Oktibbeha Webster School, in Maben, MS and furthered his education by becoming a licensed small engine repairman through Briggs & Stratton Small Engine Repair Training School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Larry dedicated himself to his family and friends. Larry will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by a son Baby Stallings and a daughter Natema Stallings. He is survived by his wife Leilah (Lisa) Stallings; one (1) son Charles Larry Stallings, Jr.; three (3) stepchildren Gregory Jermaine Hemphill of Gulfport, MS; Jessica Hemphill and Ladaisha (Stephen) Latham both of Starkville, MS; and a sister, Gwendolyn (Eucluck) Gray of Sturgis, MS. Memorial services will be held at Mt. Airy M.B. Church in Sturgis, MS on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:00 am. Rev. Dennis Johnson will be officiating.
