Justin Williams understands the meaning of hard work.
Williams experienced that as a member of the East Oktibbeha High School Titans, but the load will reach a higher level after he signed a national letter of intent Monday to join the Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers next season.
In order to be ready when he arrives in Booneville, Williams has already started preparations for playing on the next level.
“Tell you the truth, I kind of hate that I am leaving high school because I really love playing the game, but now I have to step my game up, physically and in my books,” Williams said. “I need to get more in my books and get more in the weight room because going up there is way different than high school. Now you have people bigger and stronger than you. Now you have people out there that are actually better than you and that is going to be hard.”
