SHS opens the season with Greenville Weston

February 28, 2014

Starkville High School baseball coach Travis Garner learns a little bit more out of his Yellowjackets each time they step onto the field of competition.
During a jamboree last weekend, Garner saw the competitiveness of his team in action and there will be more of an opportunity with two games this weekend.
Starkville hosts Greenville Weston today at 4 p.m., then take on Aberdeen on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Originally set as a tournament, Garner said there will be just the two games scheduled and "that will be fine."
