From Clinton Graves, Starkville

Editor:

I am wondering who cares about the well-being of our public high school – apparently, none of the Board of Aldermen, with the exception of one. They voted to overrule a unanimous decision by the City Planning commission to deny a zoning change on a parcel of land adjoining the Starkville High School. The board voted to make the zoning change in order to permit a high density housing development. There is only one outlet from this property and that is onto Yellow Jacket Drive next to the baseball field creating a definite traffic hazard for the school.
