Myles

Starkville School District Board of Trustees President Eddie Myles will go before the Starkville Board of Aldermen for consideration for a new term tonight.

The board’s agenda originally indicated that aldermen would consider appointing Juliette Weaver-Reese to fill Myles’ position on the board, which will open on March 3. However, Myles entered a late submission of intent to serve a new 5-year term and the agenda was amended to include interviews for both candidates. Submissions for the position were due by Feb. 12.
