Marion Faulkner Honsinger

Mrs. Marion Faulkner Honsinger, 87, of Starkville, MS, passed away at Trinity Health Care in Columbus, MS.  
Mrs. Honsinger was a member of the Artesia United Methodist Church. She was also an original staff member at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State where she served as Assistant Director of Student Affairs until her retirement in 1994.  Following her retirement she was active within the community and served as a docent at the Starkville Heritage Museum.  She was also a member of the DAR, colonial Dames, and the Kiwanis Club.
She is survived by her sons, John H. Honsinger, Jr. (Carol) of Carriere, MS; Richard K. Honsinger (Beth) of Columbus, MS; and Tad A. Honsinger of Humble, TX; and 3 grandchildren, Kelly, Lindsey and Adam.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd J. Faulkner and Laura Snell and husband, John H. Honsinger, Sr.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Artesia United Methodist Church.  A funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the church.  Burial will follow in Knights of Thythias Cemetery in Artesia.
