There have been several factors that have contributed to the current six-game losing streak for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
One of the main reasons is the lack of scoring for MSU.
For the fifth-straight game, the Bulldogs have been held to 59 points or less. They lost a 75-55 decision to the Georgia Bulldogs Wednesday night at Humphrey Coliseum.
After scoring 63 points in an 82-63 loss Jan. 25 to the Ole Miss Rebels on the road, MSU has only gotten 51, 49, 52, 59 and 55 in its last five outings.
State was averaging only 52.3 points per contest this season prior to the Georgia game.
"Everybody's down, but we've just got to try to stay together as a team," MSU guard Tyson Cunningham said.

Prior to the loss to Georgia, the Bulldogs of the Magnolia State fell 72-52 on the road at Texas A&M.
