Starkville High School prepares for regionals

February 12, 2014

Bowling season is rolling down the lane toward the postseason for the Starkville Yellowjackets.
On Saturday, the Jacket teams will travel about an hour south to Philadelphia where the boys and girls will both compete in the regional bowling tournament.
This is the last stop on Starkville’s journey before the state tournament later this month.
If the Jackets want to see the season extend for that trip to Jackson, they will need to finish in the top three on Saturday, because according to coach Jim Philamlee, the tournament accepts the first and second place finishers as well as one wildcard.
