Anticipation for baseball high at MSU

February 11, 2014

Smith

It only seems like yesterday when coach John Cohen and the Mississippi State Bulldogs were making their historic run through the College World Series.
Even though it was really about eight months ago, the memories of the Bulldogs reaching the CWS championship finals against UCLA remain very clear for those who follow the program closely.
MSU begins its 124th season of college baseball this Friday on Valentine's Day when it hosts first-ever opponent Hofstra at Dudy Noble Field.
