Starkville Academy, Lamar end in tie

Starkville Academy and Lamar School could not have been more evenly matched Saturday afternoon.
After regulation ended, the teams found themselves deadlocked in a 2-2 tie.
“We came out real well,” Starkville Academy coach Cole Andrews said. “We knew we could test their keeper early and that is what we did. Then we kind of relaxed and they came right back down.”
