ACKERMAN – The Choctaw County Chargers are going to have some big shoes to fill after four of their top athletes inked national letters of intent on Wednesday.
“This was a good class for us,” Choctaw County coach Adam Dillinger said. “This was an unusual class for us. It was the biggest group we have ever had as far as bulk. I have been here since 1999 and we have never had a group that big and we are proud. It carried over to most of what we are signing. They are good kids. All of them have done a real good job over the years for us to get where they are.”
Defensive lineman Taboris Lee inked his letter with the Rajun Cajuns of Louisiana-Lafayette.
Dillinger said Lee was happy about the opportunity to join the Rajun Cajuns.
“That was a goal and he is going to a good program," Dillinger said. "Coach (Mark) Hudspeth is doing a lot of good things there. They are getting a good player and he is going to benefit their program.”
