There's more to the jobs of college football coaches than just Xs and Os.
Another aspect to the college football landscape that coaches have to worry about and be on top of is recruiting.
That subject will be thrust onto the national stage today as it is national signing day – the first day that 2014 recruits can sign national letters of intent.
For Mississippi State, it will be another big day in the Dan Mullen era.
The Bulldogs currently have 19 commitments and two who are already enrolled in school.
This year's Bulldog class is ranked 36th by 247 Sports at this point in time.
According to 247 Sports, the Bulldogs have four 4-star recruits and 15 3-star recruits committed.
Newton County athlete Jamoral Graham, West Point running back Aeris Williams, Holmes Community College cornerback Tee Shepard and Greenville Weston athlete Gerri Green are the four 4-star prospects that will anchor the class.
