Winona Christian sweeps Starkville Christian

February 4, 2014

The Starkville Christian School Cougars were seeing too many Stars on Monday night.
After having an early lead against the Winona Christian Stars, Starkville Christian couldn't sustain success and lost a 58-50 decision at home.
Winona Christian's 6-7 center Luke Pittman had 14 points and several other sharp shooters were too much for the Cougars.
"They've got four shooters and a 6-7 guy," Starkville Christian coach Alex Thompson said. "When you've got one or two guys 6-foot, (Pittman is) hard to stop."
