Paula Mabry’s dedication to theatre has made a mark that, some say, completely transformed Starkville’s theatre scene.

Joe Ray Underwood, a friend of Mabry’s for more than 30 years, said Mabry helped make the Starkville High School theatre program what it is today, has played a key role for many years in the Mississippi State University Summer Scholars program and has been heavily involved in the Starkville Community Theatre, Starkville Area Arts Council, and other organizations.
