Supervisors seeking scholarship applicants

The Mississippi Association of Supervisors Minority Caucus is offering a scholarship for graduating high school seniors who plan to attend a Mississippi college. Applications can be submitted or postmarked through April 15. Pictured is a class of Starkville High School students. (SDN file photo)

Fourteen high seniors who plan to attend a Mississippi college will have the opportunity to earn scholarship money through the 2014 Mississippi Association of Supervisors Minority Caucus Scholarship.

The caucus will award the $1,000 scholarship to three applicants from each of Mississippi’s four congressional districts and two at-large applicants.
