Former U.S. Senator from Mississippi John C. Stennis may be gone, but his legacy lives on through the crew and service of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier that carries his name.
Thatâ€™s what Capt. Michael Wettlaufer, commanding officer of the USS John C. Stennis, told a packed house at the Starkville Rotary Club on Monday afternoon.
