Anyone that follows high school girls’ basketball in the state of Mississippi knows the name of Victoria Vivians.
The Scott Central senior has made a name for herself with her actions on the court.
Last week the senior became Mississippi's all-time leading scorer with 5,034 points. Vivians added 60 more to her total on Saturday in the Mid-Mississippi Challenge in Ackerman bringing her current total to 5,094.
The successes show no signs of stopping as this year alone Vivians is averaging 46 points, 12.2 rebounds and 4.4 steals per game. Those are quite the numbers, but get her off the court and Vivians is a bit quieter and enjoys the simple things in life.
“I like to eat, sleep and go to church,” Vivians said.
