January 26, 2014

Kelsey Jones

ACKERMAN – She was surrounded by underclassmen the entire game, but Starkville High School's Kelsy Jones proved she belonged on the court with them on Saturday afternoon.
The freshman had a double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds to help the Lady Yellowjackets defeat the East Webster Lady Wolverines 58-27 at the Mid-Mississippi Challenge in Ackerman.
For her efforts, Jones was selected as the Player of the Game by High School Sports Mississippi representative Jeff King.
